Betty asks…

west hollywood studio apartment?

hey, i live in west hollywood with my cousin but have to move out coz he’s having a baby, and i was looking for studio apartments for under $700. I registered at westsiderentals but can’t seem to find anything except bachelor apartments (no kitchen). I know that even though there are very rare-there are cheap studios around here. I found one but it got rented out really quickly.

Any advice on where to look and how to find a studio apartment in this area?

thanx

Donna asks…

Do you have to have certain qualifications to rent a studio apartment?

Im thinking about moving there and rent is so cheap! I figured i could make do with a studio for a first apartment. I will say that i am currently a california resident. Thank you so much =]
I mean like do you have to be handicapped, a senior etc? bcus my mom said there usually for people with low income?

Administrator answers:

You have to meet certain qualifications to rent ANY apartment. You just have to ask what each individual landlord requires.

There are some complexes that are only for seniors, and some that are only for low income or disabled. Not ALL apartments have those requirements. Again, you just have to check.

John asks…

Laura asks…

anyone know of nice, inexpensive apartments in philadelphia, pa?

me and my boyfriend are planning on moving in together around january. i currently live in downingtown, pa and he lives in harrisburg, pa, but both of our towns are pretty expensive even for a studio apartment.
but we recently starting looking towards philly, since the apartments there are so much cheaper, but we need the apartment to be in direct access of the bus route to king of prussia (since i go to school there & do not drive)
does anyone know of any inexpensive, decent apartments with the requirements i stated?
thanks

Norristown and bridgeprt are on the route 100 trolley. Less expensive than say the City Line Avenue area.I had a Girlfriend who stayed in a townhouse on Marshall Street in Norristown that was pretty nice area.

Go to www.apartmentguide.com and put in the search criteria that you just mentioned. Sometimes they give coupons off your first month of rent! Also www.apartmentratings.com is a really helpful site if you wanna see how it really is to live in the apartment you’re interested in. I was going to move into this one apartment but after going on that site and reading 99% of bad reviews for the place, I;m definitly glad I didn’t choose it. I now live in an apartment that all the residents love and it’s a really friendly neighborhood and a beautiful place. Good luck :-)
