Your Questions About Cheapest Apartments In Nyc
What’s the best way to find cheap apartments in NYC?
I recently moved to NYC and I’m moving out of my dorm soon and I want an apartment. I know there are ways to find cheap apartments, because I know people who have found them, I just don’t know where to look. Any advice? Thanks!
It doesn’t have to be in Manhattan. Brooklyn or Queens would be okay as well.
Check out http://www.myshoppinggenie.com/cheapstuff this should be exactly what you are looking for! It is a FREE application you can download for your browser and it basically searches the WHOLE internet for the cheapest price for the product you are looking to buy.
How much is the cheapest apartment in NYC and LA?
and what is the condition of it?
Haha, cheap… In NYC or LA? I don’t think such a thing exists.
Where can i find cheap apartments in Nyc and where can i find cheap furniture?
Cheap apartments, good luck! Time Out New York just came out with its annual apartment issue and it suggests Astoria, Queens, the South Bronx and Parkchester, and the south street Seaport neighborhoods as the up-and-coming ones with reasonable rents. I’d check out craigslist and get in touch with a realtor. As for cheap furniture- also craigslist if you don’t mind it used plus the hassle of retrieving it, if you do, go to Ikea.
Renting cheap apartments in NYC- help?
Preferably in the Manhattan/Brooklyn areas, does anyone have any advice on renting apartments that are very cheap?
No luxury is needed. Just affordability and decent living conditions.
Also, what do you think the cheapest rent possible would be?
Well, the cheapest apartment in New York City on Rent.com right now, for example, is $1250 for a small “studio” apartment, so, if you consider that to be “cheap” then you’re in luck, or, if that’s too much for you, then look into sharing with a roommate, in which case you could pay half of that.
