We are Agarbatti manufacturer. We are sending duplex paper board for printing (packing material) i.e.Job Work. I want to know about VAT tax liabilities on Job work ?

You don’t have to pay any VAT on job work but pay Service Tax to the printer on the bill amount of his printing services rendered to you as there is no sales involved so no Sales Tax is applicable but Service Tax payble by you on printing charges billed to you.

Duplex printing on a home printer?
I had to print out a 99 page PDF manual on a Kodak esp 5 home printer. I thought that there must be a way of ordering the pages so that I can print odd numbers 1 – 99 then turn the paper over and print 2 – 98 on the reverse sides. Is there any way of doing this with Adobe or a small free program? Doing it manually, page by page would take too long.

It’s right there in the Adobe Print Command.
Start the Print operation using the File -> Print… Menu selection. When the print dialoge comes up, look to the left side of the window. There is a pull down labeled Subset. Change it from “all pages in range” to either “odd pages” or “even pages”.

Easy – if page one is your front cover, then make page 2 blank – put your index or whatever on page 3

Duplex printing HP Officejet 6310?
Hi Guys,
I am planning to buy a HP Officejet 6310. It lacks automatic duplex printing. In order to save pages, i need it. How can i print on both sides using this printer?
I am also concerned about the printing cost. Can any body give rough idea of pages/cartridge ? I will be printing slides for my classes.
What is cheaper to get a new cartridge or get it refilled or refill your self?
Guys please help this is my first printer.

The driver should have the option for manual duplex, which means after the page printers, you reinsert it to print on the other side.
The 6310 takes the HP 92 or 98 Black (220 pages and 420 pages respectfully) and the HP 95 color (330 pages).
New – 98 – 23.99, 95 – 28.99
Remanufactured – 98 – 12.90, 95 – 13.00 (more or less depending on where you go, I just got the prices from the link below)
Refill yourself, unknown
With the new and (most) remanufactured you get a warranty. Refill kits can work, but do not guarantee anything.

Help with Manual Duplex printing, and I mean Manual?
I have a Brothers MFC-8500 with no capability for Duplex Printing, except to do it manually. I have tried this by using the “print odd pages”, and then “print even pages,” but I cannot figure out how to flip or not flip, reverse or not resverse the pages when they come out. I am going nuts with this. Anyone have a step-by-step soution? I think differnt machines might have different methods.. Help!

Easy solution, put an X on the bottom of the paper face up and put it into the paper tray so that it is visible and closest to you. Print something out and when it prints, check the orientation of the X with the print. This will tell you how the paper feeds through the printer so that you will know how to put them back in.
