Chris asks…

How much do one-bedroom apartments cost in Auckland, New Zealand?

To rent? To buy? And how’s it in Wellington?

Administrator answers:

One-bedroom apartments in Auckland in the city:

To rent: NZ$ 340.00 to NZ$ 400.00 (per week including 1 car park)
To buy: NZ$ 190000.00 to $400000.00 (most expensive ones are in the viaduct area)

It would cost you about 10% less in Wellington.

Ruth asks…

What do one bedroom apartments go for in Florida?

and what’s it like to be a filthy home wrecker?

I’m asking for a school project,thanks!

Administrator answers:

Depends on the area. I’m in the Orlando area and its about $600-$700 for an avg place. You can find something cheaper if its one of the low income places, but your neighbors will most likely suck.

Oh and it doesn’t feel good to be a filthy homewreaker. Well I wasn’t filthy but when I was 19/20 I wreaked my own home and then I almost wrecked another home, before backing off. Young and dumb, feel bad about 8 years later. But what goes around comes around and it came back around and got me!

Sandra asks…

is it expensive to live in Portland? What do one bedroom apartments rent for?

That is the least expensive safest part of Portland to live in. Is it easy to find work there?

Administrator answers:

I own a couple properties in Portland that I rent out. The studio apartment goes for $550 and the 3br/2ba house goes for $1400 per month. When I was a renter I paid similar amounts in other parts of the city, sometimes less a few years back. My properties are in the Mississippi neighborhood, a hotspot for young folks.

John asks…

Are studio apartments generally more expensive than one-bedroom apartments?

I’m planning on moving the North Hollywood area (Los Angeles, CA)

Administrator answers:

No, you’ve got it backwards. Studios are generally cheaper than one bedrooms because they are just one big room versus having a separate bedroom.
