THEY ARE FAKE!!! Almost any 1 bedroom or studio apartment under $125/night is a scam. 2 bedrooms for under $200/night are also a scam. 99% of the apartments listed on Craigslist are FAKE! If you wire a deposit or send a money order YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!! The latest scam is to rip off deposits in quantity instead of going for the big kill. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! If you think you can rent an apartment in NYC for $50 an night, you deserve to get ripped off!

I am thinking about renting an apartment in Prospect Park South,Brooklyn, NYC during the summer ?
My son will attend a course at the Brooklyn Museum and thought this maybe better than staying in manhatten and I would like to find out more about the area, whether it is safe ? If it has good transport ? Any good cafes & restaurants ? Any info at all would be appreciated. Thanks D.
Take a look at http://www.RDNY.com. It’s a no broker fee apartment rental service. They have quite a good inventory in the Prospect Park South area, and they guarantee that all their listings are 100% no broker fee.
